Road Trip!!

So, Tuesday morning we started the long journey to Utah which started at 5:50a.m. (This is when Bostyn woke up, not when we left) I finished packing up all of Bostyn's things and we loaded the car while B played by herself on the floor. My dad actually got EVERYTHING to fit inside the car, so we didn't have to strap anything on top... that's even after I bought clothes for both B and I!! :) Sweet!!

Ahh... Bostyn chillin', not realizing how long she actually will have to sit in that car seat.

We are driving along.. we've already stopped to feed B and were making pretty good time. That is until we saw the sign for Tucson! You see earlier in the trip I told my dad what the directions said and he decided not to follow them... men, I know!! Needless to say.. we drove all the way across Arizona into Phoenix and had to drive up to Flagstaff.

Yeah... Bostyn wasn't havin' that Papa!!!

So, mom had to sit in back with both Jynx and Bostyn. Jynx didn't think that was too cool. I basically sat on the end of the seat and leaned on Jynx while I tried to calm Bostyn down. There were a few times that I actually had to take a piece of ice and rube it on her feet and forehead to cool her down. She gets SO hot in that thing!! ... so much like daddy.

When Bostyn was sleeping, Jynx would cuddle with her car seat and sometimes put his head inside with her. He also did this because the air was right in front of his face!!

Once we made it to Flagstaff, we checked into our 'somewhat' ghetto hotel in which you could hear the train pulling that loud obnoxious horn!! Didn't faze these two too much.. they passed out!

Ya.. my dad let Jynx on the bed! Can we say spoiled!?

Wednesday morning we were off again at 6am. Don't they look excited?

We almost made it all the way home before Bostyn started crying.. cried for 40 mins before we got to a gas station. An hour later we pulled into Hurricane.. sweet love!! Home sweet home...
