Take a ride with me!

We went up to the cabin again and I was able to take Bostyn on a rhino ride! She actually really enjoyed it.. She just sat there and looked out at the trees, so content. She is so stinkin' cute! Here are some pictures of her and I..

Yeah.. so remember the early post about Bostyn breakin' away.. didn't happen or at least I didn't let it happen! haha :) We are trying it out again.. she is taking her naps in the crib and when I feel comfortable enough I'll put her in there at night. It's so nerve racking!!

Bostyn is SO much fun these days! She was laying on my bed while I got dressed and I went up to her and started tickling her belly.. once she started giggling I HAD to grab the camera! I apologize that you can't see her most of the time, but you can still hear her laughing. It's tough to try and be both the videographer and the tickler!

Cabin Fever

This past weekend Bostyn, Jynx, and I went to my parent's cabin to spend time with my mom's family. This was the second time Bostyn was there but now she is a little more observant!


I LOVE this picture!! haha.. She was all big eyed because of the flash. She was eating oatmeal.. which she doesn't like too much.

Everyone went to the mammoth caves on saturday.. oohh.. so spooky!! I went down there and it was PITCH black in there.. plus it was muddy inside. There was a ton of people, which wasn't too fun but it was cool to see.

Here's the gang all together! Jynx didn't want to be left out.. all weekend he kept sitting right next to me. He's so protective over us!

I wish I would have gotten a picture of Ellee and I on the rhino. She is such a princess! She was complaining about the dust the whole time.. she did enjoy when I went fast down the hills, though! I couldn't WAIT to get out there and ride the four wheelers!! I hadn't been out there on a ride for over a year! WOO HOO!! I think we might go again this weekend..

Learning to sit up..

Bostyn went to physical therapy yesterday and has a few things we still need to work on, but I am SO proud of her! She is learning to sit up on her own!!! Still a little wobbly but hopefully by the beach she can sit on her own.. That's what I'm shooting for anyhow.
She was turning around and laughing at me but of course once you get the camera out... she stops! Must be mesmorized by the camera... funny thing is she fell over right after I took the picture. lol.. Don't worry I caught her!

4th of July!

Bostyn and I went to my mom's place to go swimmin.. It didn't really go over that well. She cried about 10 minutes after we put her in the pool!! I don't know what I'm going to do with this girl! If anyone knows where I could find some TINY sunglasses, let me know. :)

We went back inside and took her out of her wet swim suit.. As you can see she was pretty happy about that!

After we fed Bostyn and let her take a nap, we decided to go back out to the pool. My mom's place has a cool kiddie pool so we dipped her feet in..

Once the sun went behind the clouds, Bostyn finally open her eyes!! haha :) I hope she'll do better at the beach next month!

Breakin' away.. :(

I have been putting Bostyn in her own crib the last few days when she naps.. which has been so nerve racking for me!! I check on her a million times... well last night I decided to put her down for the night in her own room!!! AHHH!!! What was I thinking??

As you can tell.. she really enjoyed herself. She was a little distracted by all the patterns on the bumpers, but it didn't take her too long to fall asleep.

I was PARANOID!! I checked on her 3 times in 30 minutes!! Well... she decided to wake up at 1:30AM! Ya, she thought it was the middle of the day... big smile when she saw me and was all excited. What a crazy girl!

I took her back to my room at this point and put her back in her pack n play. It took her about 30 minutes to fall back asleep, but she didn't bother mommy.. just laid there quietly and stared out. What a sweetheart!
